At VE Career Planning we understand just how difficult, tiring and even discouraging job hunting can be. We realize that as the first impression a potential employer has of you start with your cover letter and resume, it is important to get it right. Even after that stage, though, you need to continue to show you are the best person for the role. To help you from the first beginning through to successful employment, we have three main services we offer.
Resume Writing
You could have the most outstanding qualifications, skills, and abilities, but if they are not presented in the most attractive way for potential employers, you are unlikely to get those interviews or roles. A professional resume writer sits down with you to identify and extract key missing information.

Mid-Senior Career Professionals
Self-Guided Resume
$50. You will be sent a form to complete. This is a self-guided form to build a resume and mainly for those that currently do not already have a resume. Once you complete the form, the completed resume will be sent to the email address listed on the form. I will also provide basic critique and feedback in the form of comments.
Mock Interviews
Even when you are fortunate enough to secure an interview, your work isn’t done yet. Our mock interview services can help prepare you with the experience and skills necessary to not only give the right responses to the interviewer’s questions but to deliver them in the right way.
Career Mentoring
It is important to have a career plan – a map that leads to where you want to be in your chosen field. It helps you to understand the steps you need to take, the knowledge, skills, and experience you need, and how to get them to get that dream job you have always wanted.
Consulting Sessions
$70/hour. Depending on your needs, this may include, but not limited to topics such as career assessment, career planning, career transitions, resume writing, job search support, networking, interview prep, salary negotiations, workplace dynamics and many more. We determine the course of action together.
